GANYC Apple Award: And The Winner Is...

This year, we were thrilled to learn that not one, but two of our guidebooks had been nominated for the 2020 Apple Award from the venerable Guides Association of New York (GANYC):

GANYC is an association of independent, professional, and licensed tour guides in New York, and the collective knowledge about the city among this group of experts is astounding. They know their city. And they love it. And they can tell you pretty much any story you want to hear about it. So if you want to have an incredible experience and get to know any aspect of New York that you can dream up, contact GANYC to help you find an experienced tour guide with that particular expertise, from the Civil War, to the Titanic, to Broadway musical history, and food from anywhere in the world – to mention just a few.

In case the photos haven't given it away, the winner of the 2020 Apple Award for Outstanding Achievement in Book Writing (Non-Fiction) were Kevin Fitzpatrick and Joe Conzo, Jr. for 111 Places in the Bronx That You Must Not Miss.

Many thanks to GANYC for a wonderful award and recognition for our guidebook - and for everything you do to preserve and share the stories of New York City.

And congratulations to Kevin Fitzpatrick for creating an amazing tribute to an amazing borough in New York City.
