111 Places in Leeds

That You Shouldn't Miss

GUIDE

Welcome to Leeds; a great northern powerhouse of
a city which has reinvented itself from an industrial centre of wool, textiles and coal to one of the country’s biggest financial and commercial cities outside of London. Leeds is famous for its beautiful Victorian arcades, its magnificent architectural landmarks, its eclectic mix of shops and bars and its sporting venues. But scrape its bare bones and you
will find it is a city rich in history, heritage and culture with a plethora of hidden places and talents.

Can you really sit in Her Majesty’s seat, catch a Dutch water taxi, go otter spotting in the centre of town or get married on a tiny island in the city?
