111 Places in Athens

That You Shouldn't Miss

GUIDE

Discover an Athens even Athenians don’t know, a city of surprises both ancient and ultramodern, a city where a story lurks behind every façade. The authors, all long-time residents, will show you the secrets hidden in familiar sites and reveal intriguing places you never dreamed existed: crypts and tunnels, idyllic gardens and war-time horrors, underground restaurants and rooftop bars, a Roman loo, an Ottoman prison, an anarchists’ lair, a community-run café, a haunted sanitarium, a waterlily nursery...

She’s been a regular contributor to The Wall Street Journal Europe and Greecetravel.com and is currently running the popular wellness website imverywellthankyou.com.
